New Jersey Hospital Offers Luxury With Health, Wellness

New Survey Reveals Need For GPs To Challenge Status Quo In Management Of Severe Seasonal Allergic Rhinitis

Results of a survey launched today revealed that GPs are not referring their severe seasonal allergic rhinitis patients to secondary care, forgoing patient choice and care. The findings demonstrate that GPs cannot see the benefit of referring or feel that they are able to manage their severe allergy patients in their own clinics, despite an increasing number of patients presenting with the condition and concerns about symptom breakthrough on current therapies.

Researchers Appeal For Volunteers To ‘Road-Test’ Exercise Programmes Prescribed By East Kent GPs, UK

Sport and exercise academics are launching an appeal for local volunteers to 'road-test' East Kent GPs' exercise referral programmes. Dr Kate Woolf-May and her team from the University's Department of Sports Science aim to find out if exercise programmes prescribed by GPs are successful at enhancing health and reducing body weight. The research has been commissioned by the Department of Public Scrutiny and part funded by Kent County Council.
