Importance Of Building Strong Bones In Young People - American Academy Of Orthopaedic Surgeons
Childhood, especially the 'teen and 'tween years, is critical for developing lifestyle habits that support good bone health. Boys and girls in this age group have calcium needs that cannot be satisfied once they get older. The American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) and the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) have joined forces to create a public service ad that promotes the importance of calcium and exercise in a growing child's life.
