FDA Approves Once-daily Veramyst™ (fluticasone Furoate) Nasal Spray For Treatment Of Seasonal And Year-round Allergy Symptoms
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration today approved once-daily Veramyst™ (fluticasone furoate) Nasal Spray to treat seasonal and year-round allergy symptoms in adults and children two years of age and older. Veramyst will be available by prescription nationwide by late May 2007.In clinical trials, Veramyst relieved overall nasal symptoms of seasonal and year-round allergies, which included nasal congestion, sneezing, itchy nose and runny nose.
